| Concerns with Okuma v100r Our company is seriously looking at buying an Okuma v100r Vertical Lathe, our concerns are that the spindle bearing is only 8.0",we will be turning large pump parts(39"cutting Diameter for this machine) in some nasty materials(hastalloy, high temp alloys and such)I do not have a good understanding of the relationship with the spindle bearing and the weight of these parts. Will we have problems with chatter, vibration or replacement of the bearing down the road? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, MAX RPM |
