| Okuma Nlap not working NLAP Cycles – What am I doing wrong ? I can not get the following NLAP cycle to work - NLAP1. $A.MIN% N0005 (PROGRAM NAME PAGE 17 - ) N0010 G0 X250. Z250. N0015 T010101 N0020 G96 S200 N0025 G50 S3500 /N0030 M04 M08 N0010 G0 X70. Z70. NLAP1 G82 G0 X65. Z75. S200 M04 G41 G1 X56. Z80. F.12( POINT BEFORE TNR ) X40. N0100 G87 NLAP3 N0105 G0 X250. Z250. N0110 M09 N0115 M05 N0120 M02 I think that the fault is that I move to a Z distance smaller than the area to be machined. I move to Z70. and I think I should move to say Z92. and G0 X65. Z80. S200 M04 What my difficulty is that I use VDS or EditNc from Mastercam X to trace the tool paths they do not complain as I think that they don’t understand LAP cycles. When I put the above code into our school’s simulator – which directly simulates the OSP500L my code is rejected ( code 2962 ) and also when input into the actual controller. Should I change the Z position in N0010 to Z92. and before each call of NLAP1 ? In addition can I change the call sequence Is G85 NLAP1 D4. F.2 U1. W.2 the same as G85 NLAP1 D4. U1. W.2 F.2 ? Is the order important or are the parameters keyword based? When I comment out the calls to NLAP1 the rest works. Any input would be appreciated. See attachments for additional details. | hope here is an answer Example from our post for the Okuma's G85NAT1D.2U.02W.01F.018 NAT1G81 G0X.4Z.1 G1Z-.3707 X1.6741 G3X1.7366Z-.4019K-.0313 G1Z-1.4329 X1.9917Z-1.5605 G3X2.01Z-1.5826I-.0221K-.0221 G1Z-3.202 Z-5.902 Z-6.6307 X2.75 G80 You have nothing telling the machine to use a canned cycle. Without the G85NAT1 Line you are not telling the machine what to do. I would contact my dealer and ask them to give you a better post for the Okuma. |
