Default LH55N OSP5020L RS232 file IGF transmission error

    Dear colleagues.
    ,
First of all I am new on this forum and would like to say hello to the comunity.
I am writing here due to the little annoying problem I have when perform transmision between NC and PC. All is working well when transfer .MIN files but when try to send .IGF then immediatelly error showsup:
    2556 ERROR sequential attribute 5
I have readad this error description in the manual, but to be honest it doesn't say a lot to me. Probably I am doing it wrong trying to transfer it using a PIP methode.
If anyone can help me with that and sugest what should I do to be able to transfer those files, that willbe very appreciated.
    Best regards

    MIN files are text files.
IGF filetype isn't text file, it is binary.

Well, that could be a challenge, even I dig deep in the boxes in the cellar I do not think I can find any ploppy disk. But even so I do not have any floppy drive in the computers.
There is no way to transfer those files over RS232, is it?

    Well,
kurmay thanks for your advice. I have read other threads on this forum and as far as I can see only way to make backup copies of the programs from this machine, is to buy floppy-usb adapter/emulator.
but I also seen that some of them doesn't work and some does.

I've had decent luck with them, but...if your machine did not come with a built in floppy, and most 5020L controllers did not, you would also need the floppy interface board and cable set. It would honestly be cheaper to buy a real cam system than that board.

If I recall correctly, the old OSP 5000 series controllers did not support transmission of the IGF files by way of RS232. If the machine came with the floppy interface then it might be possible but otherwise not.
