We have 2 mill motors BL-MH201E-30T for a Okuma LR15M with live tooling
Both motors have exactly the same ohm resistance for all windings.
They seem to be good both.
However, the newer one did not work.
We thought the encoder was wrong so we replaced it with the exact same type
ER-FC-2048D of another working machine which was a couple of years newer.
But this encoder also gives the same error.
When we start the machine the MA spindle just starts running immediately
without a command. After 2-3 seconds it gives an error telling the motor runs too fast.
100-8 Alarm A DIF over MA-AS 5A6DD
It has an ER-FC-2048D encoder which apparantly is for a milling motor.
Does anybody know if this encoder requires a certain setting procedure?
Apparantly the 3 different coils in the motor are driven based on the position
of the encoder as I do not see any hall sensors that detect the rotor position.
So I wonder if I need to set anything to have the encoder working for a different
motor.
