hello does somebody uses excel to program the cnc ? or something like that ?

i think there is something, but so far i have no experience with this ...

hello all attached *.xls file ( provided by Okuma dealer ) generates programs for the Renishaw

those programs are loaded automatically into the control

how can i do the same ( automatically loading programs ) ? kindly

hey kurmay i was also thinking about API, but i dont have it yet.

there are many okuma applications, each one with its own specific, but none of them is loading programs; this does not mean that is not possible with API

the *.xls that i have does just that, so now i have to choose : learning API or learning macros in excel, and i really wanna shorten the learning cycle

i will just wait, maybe something happens ... however, i was thinking that maybe you have a magical floppy or something
