Many people seem to use these emulators with great success, however, I haven't had much luck so far.
The machine is a MX-45VBE with U-10M. The emulator powers on, I am able to format the USB stick using the emulator and I can even ready very small files from the USB stick using the control's MS-DOS interface. However, anything larger than a few hundred bytes and I get the error "333 floppy disk seek ERROR". After that the emulator ceases to work, any attempt to access FD0: results in "334 floppy disk recalibrate ERROR" message. It gets back to normal after restarting the control.
It would really suck to go back to using floppies so any advice is welcome!!

if unit is U100, 2 jumpers on MO and JA
