Default coolant pump party, all invited :)

hello, at operations created in IGF, water/coolant is stopped at the end, and restarted when next operation begins

i guess that pump gets screwed up ... please, can this be avoided ?

or i can leave the code like that, because there is a window inside pump control system ? for example, if water is on ( M08 ), and there is :

    N1 M09
    N2 ...something
    N3 M08, and duration between N3 and N1 is <specific_value, than M09 is ignored ?

    so :

    ( moment t1 ) N1 M09 ( comand sent, timer starts, and will be executed after specific_value [ miliseconds ] )
    ( moment t2 ) N2 ...something
    ( moment t3 ) N3 M08 ( because t3-t1<specific_value, M09 will be ignored, and also M08 will be ignored, since pump is in M08 )

    fuzzy logic ? kindly !

omg ...while writing this thread i made a bet with myself that the smartest answer will come from you

your answers are simple, natural, to the point, and all seems cristal clear after talking with you .... something like "i never thought it is that simple"

i have only one word 4 u ... pls see file

when i use iso codes, i start coolant at 1st tool, and i turn it off after last one ... do you think i should turn it off before turret goes to safe positition ? so to avoid pressure on rotary seals ? kindly !

hello, far as i know i have normal coolant pumps, but one lathe and the mill, they bought have preparation for high pressure coolant ... my dealer said that if i wish for high pressure, i will only need to change the pump

i index sometimes to a position where coolant is completely blocked, but not for long time ... i start coolant, than index one by one all 12 posts/positions, to verify if there are orings ... sometimes operators forget to put them, and i can see coolant spreading like crazy between turret and holder ...

on lathe, if coolant is on, and i index to a dummy, so i block water coming out from the turret, than will come more water from near the tailstock ... there is always water near the tailstock, so if turret is blocked, than will be more water coming out from the tailstock

-a few time ago i did a simple test
    a) coolant from turret, with no holder
    b)
    static holder, interior
    c) l
ive holder, 0..5800 rpm, through spindle
    d)
    static holder, exterior
    e)
    live holder, near spindle

    a) 100% _____ 17 [ liters / minute=l/m ]
    b) _88%..82%_ 15..14
    c) _65%..56%_ 11..9.5
    d) _47% _____ 8
    e) _44%______ 7.5
so, i guess that all coolant debit difference goes through near tailstock

i will verify how many PSI my pumps put out

    question 1)
about debit differences, please, how does mills handle it ? especially for M51 / through spindle ... because, there is a debit difference betwen a o8mm drill, and a o63mm ... i was not going to ask this, but our new mill had a problem about coolant leakage, and after a while it got fixed ... i asked the dealer about debit difference, but nothing yet .. i still worry about this

    question 2)
when is needed high pressure coolant ? lathe / mill

    question 3)
on lathe, after coolant stops, so pump is out, after a short delay, like 20seconds, there comes again coolant, ~8 seconds; it is nasty, because, i stop to measure, and all coolant comes on part, measuring tool, my/operators hands ... and so, i lose way too much time ... is it normal ? when machine was new, this did not happened

    kindly !

just a moment. The coolant stops, the pump stops and you have coolant flow? More details, please.
hy ....i don't know what more details to give ... pump stops, and after a while there comes some coolant for a few seconds ... is like it was late, and it arrived just now

maybe i will post a movie
