OKUMA ALARM 202-3


Hello, I Have a problem with X Axis tripping showing alarm 202-3, sometimes the servo system will hold in but a slight tap on the X axis motor will drop out the servos with the alarm. If converted to decimal it appears the encoder count is one place out on the right hand digit. The machine is new to me and are looking for a helping hand.

THANKS GUYS, I ACTUALLY FIXED HALF THE PROBLEM MYSELF.. THE 12 PIN PLUGS IN THE ENCODER CAN COME HALFWAY OFF THE PINS GIVING ODD RESULTS.. THE PLUG IN A LOOSE FIT ON THE PINS AND THE X AXIS IS WORKING BUT ONLY IN ONE DIRECTION. ON HANDWHEEL AND RAPID BUTTON AWAY FROM CHUCK. THIS STILL COULD BE LOOSE PINS BUT IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER IDEAS I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR. THE MACHINE IS OVERLUBING BUT I THINK IT IS BECAUSE ITS SITTING DOING NOTHING.. ALSO THE GIBS ARE GOOD BECAUSE THE MACHINE IS VIRTUALLY BRAND NEW. BEEN SITTING AT A TAFE SCHOOL. THANKS
