    Hallo
We are working also with a MC400H, only we have a Opus7000 controller on it.
    Please take a look http://www.ange-metall.com/
The 400er is build with diff. configaration. i believe.
Our mc400h works fine, he is from 1997 so we must now update the memory-board (so about 15years the controller say the the battery must be changes).
    good luke

    OSP-5020

it would be nice to go to seller and see the machine before paying. OK if it's in working condition. It's not a big deal to keep it running.
The trouble will start if some problems with Bubble memory and old Okuma encoders.
обычные проблемы - блоки питания 24V, силовые концы приводов (IGBT) и, конечно же, надо сразу менять кинескоп на LCD, или в крайнем случае на обычный телевизионный

sorry to say, but Your video demonstrates Your lack of understanding about defectation of the machinetool only. No air, no tool change, no pallet change. No spindle gear change - why? Your trip was a waste.
This "inspection" shows just a little functions of the machine. The dial indicator is first to check the axis movement and spindle revolution ... It's very good to take tension dynamometer to check tool clamping force. Do You imagine what a pain is to replace tool clamp plate springs?
ATC is (maybe) equipped with weight compansation cylinder fot this machine. You don't know, is it working or totaly dead.
Coolant system, door interlock - was possible to check easy ...
