    2 options

    - turn the machine OFF and manually turn the leadscrew to bring the axis back into the working zone
    - find the OT RELEASE button ( switch ) and PULSE HANDLE back into the work zone, the jog buttons are usually disabled

To get the machine off the overtravel switch, go to the back of the machine and flick the OT Release switch to ON.

Go to the control. Press RESET.

The alarm will change to OT Release Mode or something similar.

Move the axis using the handle.

Go to the back of the machine and flick the OT Release switch OFF.

Go back to the control, press RESET.

    The alarm should be gone.

Order a new pair of boots the ones you have will wear out fast.

We mounted the OT release switch on the panel so no more worn boots
