    Tailstock Spindle Condition Illegal Alarm1717

    I want to leave center work activated but when I command the spindle I get the 1717 alarm. I have tried using M157/156 but it has no affect This is on an OSP10UL Crown Lathe

    "Tailstock interlock release" code must work. Quill must be retracted.

    ok we got it to work. It was a programming error when entering the m code into the MDI. M157-write-cycle start S100M03-write-cycle start. We were not pressing cycle start after each block.

    Try using an m157 m167 together
    For this interlock override should fix the problem
