Thread: OSP5000 getting "tailstock spindle condition illegal" - help!

    The bits that involve the tailstock In Check Data No 6 Bits 5 (TSRT- Tailstock retract), bit 4 (TSIP-Tailstock in position), and bit 3 (TSOA- tgailstock overadvance). The bits are usualy jumped out unless the machine had the option for Tailstock confirmation or tow-along. The Operations manual has a section on the tailstock if you have a copy.

    Yup, standard 5000L, not an LG. You have more gauges and switches simply because you have more options/axis than the panel I listed.
