Is anyone running this 15hp lathe on a rotary phase converter? If so, what size/type are you using?

there are two factories in our area with act-3 lathe. What do You mean under rotary phase converter??
I don't understand.

i have this machine at my home and do not have 3 phase power, so i need to run a phase converter. I do not know how big or what brand of converter to buy.

too complicated in my opinion. Spindle drive and axis drive units - frequency converters - can be powered single phase. Fans, I believe are powered single phase originally. Only coolant pump and hydraulic pump motors must be powered 3P. This is quite simple without expensive complicated unit.
