    Okuma L15 1026 alarm

When indexing A turret 1026 alarm occurs (SVP SA inverter bridge short circuit) in hand, mdi or auto mode. The fault is not constant, i can manually index the turret five or maybe ten times ok same in mdi then the alarm occurs.

sounds like the drive unit is pulling too much current. check the motor for short (megging). make sure the cap seal for the disk isn't swollen making a large load. if this motor is good you may need to replace the drive.

    1026 alarm update

I have checked the motor and cables , all ok. I can get the turret working by swapping the SVC II board from the turret drive to one of the axis drives. Unfortunately this does not transfer the 1026 alarm to the corresponding axis. But i do get 1008 SVP Diff over alarm on both axis, could this be a setting problem ?
