okuma lb 15 turret

We have a okuma lb15 with 5000l control , when the turret indexes to a tool it hits hard and shakes before it sets down. Sometimes it will work fine but most of the time not. Thanks for any help.

decel valve on the hydraulics as it starts to reach position it should slowdown, then park itself. Valve is pulling on but not shifting allowing it to slow down before engagement.

Check every station, forward and reverse, with either a balanced turret or nothing on the turret. I've seen the limit switches cause this when the shafts wear out. If your machine is a early one, it may not have switches and have a resolver. If every station does it, then you need to adjust the decel valve.

problem is mechanical. change the rolling bearing in the turret.
