did you hit the question button on the control panel just under the display to the far left. It should pop up with the alarm definition. I've been using this quite a bit
Last Friday ran g71 threading for first time. What a breakthru for this old boy.
So yesterday I try to resume where I left off and when the program gets to the g71 line I am getting alarm 2226. Looked this up and I believe it is telling me that g71 is no longer in the memory!!
Anyone ever see this alarm before?
If so do you have a solution?
Is it just me or are the Okuma manuals the most confusing complicated bunch of gibberish ever published??
Thanks in advance for your help. Joe
control is OSPU10L

Haven't looked up the alarm, but I think you may be restarting incorrectly.
Restart> N100(use correct line#)> WRITE > SEQUENCE RESTART
Is this your sequence of events?
Best regards,
PS: the correct term for their manuals is "Jinglish" which is a combination of Japanese and english.![]()
Thanks to OkumaWiz and dingo0722 for helping me out.
