I must be missing something about this, sorry. What question are you asking? How to run both turrets in the same program with a loop? How to run them at the same time with a loop?

"I'm struggling to get the turrets to sync" doesn't really clarify what you are trying to do. I'm sure we can help if we know what you need.

And please turn Caps Lock off when posting.

to get the turrets to sync
isn't it obvious, that client wants to cut the same surface (maybe balanced cutting) with both tools simultaneously?
easy to note: no "P" codes in part program. These are named as "synchronisation" codes, isn't it?

Genius Al you noticed there weren't 'P' codes how could I miss it, it's like you're the only one who notices that stuff WOW!

The point is it isn't "obvious" that's why you use adverbs like "maybe". The answer would be different depending on the question, sulėtinti.

    Question

I would like to place the bar puller and possibly a parts catcher onto the B turrett. I understand the "P" word (p5,p10...) must be used for everything concerning the spindle for proper sync up of the turrets. All the examples that I have seen are for single parts only. I have never pinch turned, so I am not sure how this will all come together with the loop programs. Do I need a loop program for the B turret or can the existing loops be used with no ill effects? I hope this answers your questions.
    Thanks, Eric

You will need a loop command for each turret.

    IE
    G13(turret A)
    N123
    blah blah-program
    GOTO N123
    M2

    G14(turret B)
    N321
    blah blah-program
    GOTO N321
    M2

    Glad you asked

    Robert,
Do you know where I can view some examples so I can firmly wrap my brain around this? Would you know where I could get some advanced programming knowledge for the Okuma? I want to learn as much as possible!
    Thanks, Eric

    I do not know.
Have you tried Google for schools and Apps's training and stuff, again I don't know. I taught myself.

There has been plenty of discussion here(for example) at CNCzone about "P" codes.
I'm surprised Al didn't tell you to use IGF if you have it. IGF in my experience, will do the job, but is far from ideal.
The programming manual does explain as well.
I don't want to sound glib, but teaching yourself (like littlerob and most people here) is the best way to get your head around the syncronisation.

Bugger me,............ he knows Mastercam now.

Al, keep your trap shut, you've got no idea what you are talking about

You just select Okuma LT25 compiler.
I've been using Mcam for years, what the hell are you talking about

    Kazmi,
this question is probably best asked in the Masteram area, and you won't get stupid answers from Al
