Software For Okuma LR15

I am looking for software for 1993 Okuma LR15 Lathe with OSP5020L control. Batteries went dead on CMOS board and lost everything. Okuma is trying to charge $2500.00 for software, I am willing to pay if anyone has anything.

I have a stupid question...All Okuma's are shipped with control software in the back of the electrical cabinet. Did you check to see if yours is there?

By the way, every machine is serial # specific, and is spec'd for the options on it, so your chances of getting software that will make everything work is slim.

5020 uses a floppy disk set and also will require the special floppy disk drive with board that the distributor should have. As far as software being serialized, that is only partially true. I've been able to mix match software on machines before. I think it is only disk 1 that may be an issue. You really don't have a choice, and will also have to pay for a service call to load it, since you wouldn't have the special floppy drive most likely.

HELLO , EVERYBODY I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS REGARDING OKUMA LR-15 . I HAVE WON ONE 1995 MADE OKUMA LR-15 IN AN AUCTION . THEY SAY THAT THIS MACHINE IS IN PRODUCTION TILL SEPTEMBER 2009 . WILL THERE ANY PROBLEM IN MACHINE FOR REMAINING OUT OF POWER FOR LONG TIME . AND IS THERE ANY SOLUTION FOR THE PROBLEM . HOW IS THIS OKUMA LR-15 MACHINE . PLEASE ADVICE ME ON THIS . WHAT PROBLEMS WILL BE THERE WHICH I SHOULD BE READY TO FACE .
