1. error message MDI or auto mode
2. diagnostics message
3. Look at diagram - what are these steps? Is there curtain on Your machine between work area and tool magazine?
Cycle nr. 9: Outer cylinder unclapm
Cycle nr.10: Continue (no actual operation)
Cycle nr.11: Tool change arm 90 degrees rotation
"During execution of the ATS (AT-ATC) cycle, ATC input information does not match the ATS sequense advance conditions. (Indicated in the ATC logic chart)"
Code:
1: Input conditons are not turned of
0: Byte number logical input chart
2: Bit position in logical input chart
There was an endswitch under the cover that protects the toolchange system that was hanging. Cleaned it an moved it a little closer to the piece that activates it. All good
The magazine is vartical with the tools situated horisontal out from the pots. When the tool swings down there is a little plate that touches the sensor when the tool is vertical and ready for toolchange. There is some delay from when the plate touches the switch and the actual toolswapping happens.
that's correct. I just warned in case of another situation. Just pretend if tool pot doesn't comes to required vertical position and tool coming back to magazine hits the pot.
My idea is to see the position of mechanism before moving limit switch.
Inductive sensors are aging, of course. You can see hysteresis disappearance before sensor is totally useless.
Sorry for resurrecting old thread, got similar problem on customers MX-55VA.
Machine stops in automatic with this alarm:Alarm B 2354 Spindle orient position OFF, when changing tools from ATC.
Also stop in sequence 9 in manual mode ATC.
Solution: bad switch SQ8, Pot horizontal position confirmation limit switch.
Oxidated, never dissengage electrically.
Some contact cleaning and alarm gone.
Check diagnose NO.28, input iPHOR, must gone when switch engaged.
