Hello fellow OKK users, I once again as a new OKK user need to ask if anyone knows when to use the "HIGH PRECISION" code "G5P1 ? My boss is still looking where the previous users put the manuals so I am flying blind and inserting the code in the beginning of all programs. Is this a wast of time ? or should I ask our post expert to change the post and insert it in every program? any help is greatly appreciated, thanks |

This should be used only for fine segment programs. This turn on a dynamic look ahead that judges oncoming line segments and better controls how the CNC should handle the acc/dec rate at segment changes. It does nothing for normal fixed cycle or long segment programming. The best place to turn it on is after the G43 line and turn it off after the last fine segment line in the program. |
