Question for NM-200 Owners?

I'm about to oder a NM-200 but have a question fo owners. There is a dicrepiencey on the spec sheet I recived from Kai at Novakon. On the spec sheet it lists the travels at 24 X 15 X 11.50 which would meet 99% of my needs but on the Spec sheet it lists the Working Envelope as 22 X 11 X 10.5 which would be that same as the Smithy. I asked Kai and he said the travels 25 X 15 X 11.5 are correct. So with travels liek that how would the work envelope only be 22 X 11 X10.5. He says it is a misprint but I want to verify the accual work space as 22 X 11 X 10.5 would not be enought to meet my needs.

Thanks,

Chris

Well I read cjjonesarmory info on it looks like 20 X 11 X 10 which will not meet my needs. Damn. The search continues for a mill. I guess it will eithe have to be MicroKinetics or the IH as they both have the same travel.

Maybe Novakon made an engineering change recently that increased the travels.

Novakon has fiddled (increased) the travels on the NM135, so it's likely they did the same for the NM200 - so I'd believe the higher number Khai is stating.
I also removed a not-too-useful travel-limiting screw on my 135 for an extra .6". Continuous improvement is good.

NM135 XY travels:
Rev2.0: 6" x 11"
Rev2.1: 8" x 13.75"
Remove washer/screw: 8" x 14.4"

To get these travels, I had to move the limitswitch dogs very close to the mechanical stops.
