| Based on which machines? I was wondering if the Novakon machines are based on any commonly known machines by Rong-Fu ( RF-20 etc) or Sieg ( X1,X2,X3, etc)? |

none really. they are ground up cnc mill, not retrofits. the design is a slightly upgraded version of the sieg KX3 - which is very loosely based around the specs of an x3, but does not share many parts if any at all. |

The entire Novakon line can't all be the same, one looks alot like a sherline. |

| the nm-135 is like a sieg kx3 or smithy 622, but improved in several ways. the nm-070 is like a sieg kx1 or smithy 516. not alot of differences. its is not like the sieg x1 manual mill - it shares no parts. the nm-035 i actually got to see friday. its bigger than a sherline by far and made of iron, not aluminium. more taig sized. i have no idea if its any good. heres some better images: http://www.atron.com.tw/uwish/front/...art=CNC-HM-035 |
