housing on the cheap for the nm070

i build an enclosure for my nm-070 (kx1) today.



its made from an ikea kitchen cabinet. it just happened to fit with 1/2" to spare on all sides. i need to put silicone caulking all around the seams now and put a seal on the doors. also have to put a lip at the bottom so chips or coolant cant spill out.

eventually ill put a windo in one of the doors, but for now it will get a webcam mounted inside.

its sitting on 3 layers of carpet underlay to damp vibration, and the top is a 2x4 foot mdf work surface. the control pc will go up there. i decided to put it on the floor cause it made the most sense in my apartment. it becomes a usable table rather than just being in the way.

not too bad for $100
