I have the 4" from Novakon it fits just about right on the 145 any smaller and you would be limiting yourself any larger and and you give up too much table space. the one gripe i have with the clamp is that when you tighten it down it has some lift but all screw vices have that to some degree. if you want a vice with little to no lift you will need a screw less vice.
glacern 4" or 5". 6" is a bit too big for the machine.
I have Kurt vises in two sizes. They are pricey if bought new, but you can often find used on eBay. A pair of 4" vises side by side can be very handy for holding long stock. If you use soft jaws, then milling the faces gives an automatic tram.
