Anyone have a NM-200 W/O on-board computer?

I just got my NM-200 but I opted out of the built in PC. I knew I needed a 25 pin parallel connection, but I misunderstood that I need a 4 pin, 5W cable from the power supply for the machine to power up. I want to use my pc and just run a parallel cable from it to my machine.

Anyone in my boat?
