My MPG is coming from Vista CNC

Got the notification that my Pendent will be coming soon. It was supposedly shipped on Saturday ( so probably really this Monday or Tuesday ).

Its coming from CA so it will probably take a week and a half to get here. It was shipped priority mail, so who knows maybe that means 3 weeks LOL.

But this is supposed to be a plug and play operation directly into Mach3 with USB.

We will see. I am really excited.

I bought the Pendent #2 for $200



I am hoping this works well because I am tired of replacing keyboards already ( on my second one , the chips and coolant are killing it ).

I ll have a full write up on it when it comes and I function test it.

I also have a Probe for digitizing here that I want to try and hook up as well so I ll if I can get that going also.

I might use the probe on my other machine though just so I don't tie up the big one.

Holy crow.... it arrived today !

There must have been some rocket fuel in them there pony riders for USPS !

Plugged in the MPG and downloaded the file and bingo!!!!

Works like a charm !

I am very happy with it so far. I only got to do a test run with it. Didn't get to really use it , but everything worked on it. Its not like the big units ( Haas ) in use, meaning it doesn't seem to respond as fast , there is a little of a delay it seems, but that might be in my settings.

I ll do a full review on it soon.

I just got mine today, super fast shipping!

I won't be able to use mine for a while... how is using the yellow clicker button for velocity knob? I noticed you don't know if it's in up or down position... do you just look at Mach screen to see what's highlighted?

Is it still slow responding?

I am still working with mine. It had some funny reactions to things. Like if I touched metal with my arms while using it , it would freak out. Like I was grounding through. But then it stopped the next day.

The yellow button I don't like that much. It would be nice if it stayed up or down like the picture says.

I can't get my step mode to change .01 , .100, 1. etc. I have to do it manually.

I am going to do a report on it soon , after I get more "wheel" time behind it !
