    Error message from Siemens 840 d/Hitrol

    Problems with Hyundai New HIT 8
    Error message from Siemens 840 d/Hyundai Hitrol.
    Is there anyone which do know alarm code # 2001 PLC has not started up.
    And #120201 communication faliet.

    Is it serious difficulties and if, is it expensively to get repaired ?

    You PLC need to be replace, somehow it seem the PLC fry after certain hours. you can buy and replace it yourself, quite simple.
    The best way to learn is trial error.

    If all the keys are flashing the PLC hasn't booted, have a look at the NCU card and look at the 2 rows of led's. Also, the display should show a number "6".

    on the NCU card, both top leds should be green above the "6".

    if any red leds are on then you will need to delete the plc and reload the plc archive from the "series start up".

    you will need a siemens engineer to do this and he will need 2 or 3 hours to reset the ncu card and reload the plc.
