Happy 1st of August everyone! This summer has been flying by and we just want to thank all of our customers for their questions and feedback! This week, our customer called in to inquire about a bit to cut foam. The foam was being used for a decorative point of sale sign and needed to be cut accurately. This foam was also approximately 3” thick and the bit needed to cut through its entirety.
We recommended the Onsrud 52-550 series, specifically sku numbers 52-570 and 52-574. These bits are solid carbide, upcut, double-fluted bits. They are specific foam cutters for thick material and create and upward chip flow.
