Hope everybody had a great weekend! We’re starting this week off a little differently and writing our tool recommendations post on our charcoal felt. Our customer reached out to us through our live help desk found on our website. Charcoal felt is very important with project applications using knives and blades. By putting the felt underneath the material intended to be cut, it provides a cushion for blades, preventing them from dulling quickly and extending their life. Remember, it’s always important to take precautions to preserve the life of your consumables while getting the best results for your projects!
On our website we have two common lengths of our 5 foot wide felt: 8 feet and 10 feet. However, if there is a specific length that is needed for a certain project, like our customer who only required 6 1/2 feet in length, we would be more than happy to oblige! You can contact us directly if alternative lengths are necessary.
