    DNC to Kitamura Mycenter-1 (fanuc)

    Hi,

I am trying to get NCPlot to send programs to a Kitamura Mycenter-1 with fanuc controller. But it seams like the machine will not understand the XON/XOFF. Or so i belive. In the DNC application currently used there is a option "XON sign" and "XOFF sign" this is set to ^Q and ^S.
I don't know much about XON/XOFF but is DNC sending some other XON/XOFF signal that my machine do not understand?

    Thanks in advance - Tony.

As a generic reply to all communication questions, settings have to match on both ends for a control/pc to communicate properly. The other BIG factor is how your cable is manufactured. There is a wealth of knowledge on here for communication settings, and cable diagrams. Good luck.
