    plotting questions

i've been evaluaing the program, looks great so far. but i'm having some issues with plotting.
i seem to have trouble plotting selected lines/tools. also, plotting to/from cursor doesn't work right for me. could very well be me though.
when i try to select a tool that has a subprogram, it will not plot. also, it seems that i can't always plot a single tool even if it doesn't have a sub.
i us m98pxxx for the sub callouts.
    thanks, ron

    Hi Ron,

Can you post or email me a program you're having trouble with? And give an example of the problem if you can.

    Thanks,
    Scott

figured out the sub plotting. i just need to select the sub itself, not the main program.
one more dilema though. we use an external indexer that communicates with the machine with a popn/pclose/dprint callout. when trying to plot these programs, it gives me an invalid character in expression. it highlites the popen and won't allow me to plot.

    here's an example

    (heading)
    POPEN
    N1T1M6
    M01(3/8 2FL CARB.E-MILL)

    DPRNT[/MOVA0.00]
    M8
    rest of program

    thanks, Ron

    Ron,

The interpreter doesn't recognize the serial port commands so it's giving you an error. I'll add these to the interpreter so that at least it won't give an error.

    Thanks,
    Scott
