| Scott, I'm trying to use File/save as seperate to breakup a large backup file. So far have had no success. The file is from a Fadal CNC 88HS downloaded using Fadal Assist. The output looks like this: % n1o1(part # op# n2t1m6 . . M2 n102(*** . . m2 n1o2000(*** . . m2 % are the n words in front of the o word a problem? maybe the (program description? any ideas? Thanks, Dave |

| Dave, Yes, NCPlot is looking for the program ID in Fanuc format. The O word must be the first character on the line: % O1234(PROGRAM1) G1X... ... .. M2 O2345(PROGRAM2) G1X.. ... .. M2 % Is the N word always the same when it appears in front of the O word? If so, you could do a search/replace to remove it before using the Save as Separate tool. Regards, Scott |
