    Multistep rotations issue

    Hi Scott,
tried a multistep rotation with repetitions with this code :
    G90 G40 G0 X40.0 Y0
    G1 Z-5. F1000.
    G41 G1 X50.0 Y-20.001
    G1 X70.0 Y-20.001
    G3 X70.0 Y20.001 R20.
    G1 X50.0 Y20.001
    G40 G1 X40.0 Y0
and had issues when I use the wanted angle . It only works perfect with 60 or 90 degrees but not with 40 or 50 degrees.
    Please find attached screenshots.

    Richard,

What appears to be happening is that NCPlot is ignoring arc commands when they result in an error. You don't see these errors reported during the translation but when they ocurr the block does not get translated. In your code the error was caused by the G3 arc radius being slightly smaller than the calculated minimum radius. This error is affected by the arc tolerance setting on the machine configuration and by increasing this value I was able to translate your code without any trouble.

    Thanks,
    Scott

    Scott,

problem is solved by increasing the arc toleranceas you said.

    Thanks a lot
    Richard
