    Dxf file

Is it possible to save and look at the dxf files that are imported into NcPlot? It seems that once I closed the layer manager I have to reimport. Is this how NcPlot works for this feature?

There are a couple of ways to overlay DXF files onto a backplot. First, you can specify a DXF drawing in the machine configuration on the viewport settings page. This option loads the drawing whenever the configuration is active. Another option is the 'Set as reference' tool under the View menu. This will set whatever is currently displayed on the viewport as the background image, including a loaded DXF file. This image will remain until you clear it or a machine configuration is changed.

    Thanks,
    Scott
