M-code,
Thanks! I can update the NCPRotate script function, that should be no problem. I'm curious about the MultiStep rotation though, what sort of application do you have that you need different rotation settings for each pass?
Thanks,
Scott
Hi Scott,
This is my first Post, I'd like to start off saying: Awesome software!, it is a
must have as far as I'm concerned.
I like the new rotate tool and was wandering if you are going to update
the script command NCPRotate to work with the added functionality?
Also would it be possible to modify the MultiStep tool to multi-rotate using
different parameters for each rotation?
Thanks

Thanks for the quick response,
I have written apps for 5 axis rotations and see that the MultiStep
rotate could be useful in calculating rotation results if the dialog
allowed each rotation to have its own plane and rotation center values.
It works fine as is, rotating one plane at a time, but thought it would be
nice to implement it in the MultiStep tool. By updating the Script command
it will be easy enough to use a script for that purpose. It's also handy for
Post development and for verifying Rotary Set-ups and 5 axis drilling positions.
Thanks again Scott,

M-Code,
You may want to also take a look at the Address Calculator tool. I'm not sure if will be helpful in your situation but I'd be glad to hear your thoughts on it. If you'd like to see some examples, there's a few on the NCPlot web site's forums page under the "Macros" sub forum.
Thanks,
Scott
WOW! how did I overlook that tool.
I checked out the examples you wrote and applied
them to the text to g-code output and I can't wait to
put it to use. I can't over state the power of your software
for programmers who want to customize their abilities and
add value to themselves. I also would like to mention that
your macro translator tool has been very handy and it's the
only tool like that around. I'm looking forward to your updates
and I'm always checking for the next beta.
Thanks Scott,
