I was recently put in charge of fixing up the hanwha xd20 s......
When I turn the machine off for more than 5 minutes I notice when I turn it back on the next day, I have to reline up the machine because the gangslide has dropped anywhere from 5 thousandths to 14 thousandths. The brake was replaced a year ago.
I looked on the work load page while it was in idle. Jogging the gang slide up shows 32 percent work load. Jogging down the work load is 11 percent. I spoke to a service tech and he told me jogging the gang slide in idle should be about 10 percent. He said if it gets into the 30 to 60 percent range that the brake is not releasing and staying partially engaged. I'm confused on where to start and what to do first. I normally work on citizens and Mitsubishi controls. I'm new to hanwah and Fanuc controls..
Any help is much appreciated. Thank you
