Thanks Alex for your reply in addition to others who have posted as well. I do my own geometry in a Cad program but certainly do not consider myself a expert or can offer a service to others. I do know there are those who are very proficient in Cad design and it was my intention to start a list of programmers who can provide a service to those folks who have decided to enter into the CNC guitar building world. I am not sure if this conflicts with any rules or regulations within this forum. I would like to start a list for those who can provide such a service and if this is in contrast to policy then I am sure it will be removed. Please feel free to add to this list or request to be removed. If in fact you would like to be included on this list or I have already mentioned you please provide additional contact information, name, website, email, phone etc. http://www.cnclutherie.com http://www.saintlutherie.com/index.html Bob Garrish http://amgguitars.echoes.net/Index.html Alex alpinedesign@netzero.net Bill Dewey steve@cad2cam.net Steve Arteman bostosh0@cox.net Last edited by dishawcues; 01-20-2010 at 12:30 PM. |

| I did CAD/CAM/Jig & process design for Paul Reed Smith for 3.5 years. Recently I've been providing 3D components modeled in Rhino - please let me know if I can help you out with any parts or if you have any questions regarding manufacturing processes. Here's a link to my site: http://www.peakeguitars.com/services.html Best, Trevor Lewis |

If you are new to the CNC world of guitar building then you may find the below listings of CAD/Cam programmers a valuable asset. Below is a listing of qualified people who can provide you with all the geometry, surface modeling, tool paths, post processors, etc, to get you on your way to your first CNC guitar project. Please understand these are highly skilled people who have spent countless hours learning theses skills and will require a fee for their services. If you would like to be included on this list as a qualified programmer please send me all pertinent information and I will add your name. In addition, if you name is already on this list and wish to be removed simple send me your request. http://www.cnclutherie.com http://www.saintlutherie.com/index.html Bob Garrish http://amgguitars.echoes.net/Index.html Alex alpinedesign@netzero.net Bill Dewey steve@cad2cam.net Steve Arteman bostosh0@cox.net http://www.peakeguitars.com/services.html Trevor Lewis marc@esoengineering.co.za Marc Erasmus |
