I created a sketch plane aligned with the contour, and sketched an arc tangent to the face of the body, then did an extrude cut.
Hey guys,
I'm new to surfacing and want to make the arm contour for one of my model guitars but don't have a clue on how to do it. I found a way to make the contour for the back contour but really dont know where to go with this one.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah that looks great. Did you only use like a 15 degree angle for the superstrat/jem? it looks like the arm contour starts to round once it gets to the bottom.
It's a 120mm radius. I modeled it from this drawing.

Looks like you live about 10 minutes from me.
I can email you the model if you want to see how I did it, but it's an 8Mb file.
