Hey guys, I'm new to surfacing and want to make the arm contour for one of my model guitars but don't have a clue on how to do it. I found a way to make the contour for the back contour but really dont know where to go with this one. Any help would be appreciated. Dave P.S. Using solidworks for modeling |

| Like this? I created a sketch plane aligned with the contour, and sketched an arc tangent to the face of the body, then did an extrude cut.

| It's a 120mm radius. I modeled it from this drawing. http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showpo...25&postcount=1 Looks like you live about 10 minutes from me. ![]() I can email you the model if you want to see how I did it, but it's an 8Mb file.
