OK, so I made some modifications to the body contours according to the Blueprint I posted previously...what do you guys think, close enough? I simulated the render with walnut as the wood this time to shows the curves more...

| Congratulations.... That is a a beautiful build. You should talk to the folks at carveright/craftsman, and ask them to pay you.....I think you have taken that thing to new heights! ![]() Here is one of my recent builds: http://www.cncguitar.org:7171/les-paul/ Designed in Solidworks from the '59 LP plans, and machined with Mastercam (on my home-build CNC router). A few twists: -Under the Mother of Perl inlays, there are miniature LED's, so that with a pull of one of the pots, the fretboard lights up (but you cant tell they are there when off) -Another pull of a second pot, and there is an on-board tuner (both work off a 9V internal battery) -As you can see from the side shots, the guitar also has a build in USB interface...just plug into a computer, and use guitar rig to jam...one USB cable needed, and nothing more... Will post some more pics of a recent hollow body LP, with some more surprises...
