I'm studying the training videos from CNCguitar.org. The training course uses Solid Works & Mastercam. Mastercam uses a command called "cut from surface". This allows your tool to cut the selected sketch at a defined depth. One example would be a slot whose bottom follows a contour. The current application is routing a fret slot so that the bottom of the slot follows the fretboard surface at a specified depth. Is there a comparable command for this in Alibre Cam? Flankman |
