ISO CAD or toolpath data for CNC routing (body+neck)

    Hello from Germany,

I am new to CNC and would love to use my CNC for making me a guitar (LP or Tele, maybe a Strat) and I am looking out for real CAD-drawing or real usable data for routing the body + neck (I donīt mean the .dfx etc. files I know for download at another place).

As I am a beginner I cannot offer any data for trade, but I have a good stock of tonewood that I could offer to work out something.

If any kind soul is willing to help Iīd appreciate it very much.

    Thanks and best regards,
    Martin

    Hi Martin,

If you look here in the musical instruments threads you will find an iges file I loaded of a double cut les paul. It is not finished, but it will get you started anyway. If you can't find the thread post again or send me a pm with an email and I will send the files directly to you.

    Hi Mike,

thanks a lot - I found your two igs-files! Unfortunately there seems to be a routing between the humbuchers in the mid position for a single coil pickup ... I wanted it more the old way and donīt know if I can delete this with my routing software (NCdrive)... have to check, but I donīt think so.

Anyway, thanks again and best regards from Hamburg

    Hi Martin,

My iges files did not have the pickup cavities modeled yet.

    Here is the link.
