Hey, I am gathering as much information as i can by forhand on making my own guitar. I am going for a '57 LP custom. I have got a (short tenon) neck and got that part covered, and have a huge workingplace with all kinds of machinery, including CNC machines. I am no expert in CAD drawings with rhino, but starting with it. Changes of getting that skill or carving a guitar top with handtools is way better! ![]() My question is, if someone has a drawing of a body for a '57 LP custom or LP standard, or similair to those. I have the hardcopy StewMac plans, but they lack in detail of the carving of the top. The most important and hard part for me. Hope anyone would like to help me out! Thanks Eric |

| I have seen those files, and they are already almost the same. But the pickup cavity is different and it's chambered. I don't know if simply removing some of those parts, result in a drawing that is still suitable for a cnc machine? And will it still calculate all routing actions correctly by itself? Thanks! |
