I am hoping someone could e-mail me at zamminc@gmail.com so I can send a drawing a friend has made for me. I am worried b/c he couldn't draw curver well so instead he amde he curves a little angualr so the CNC shop could take the outer points and make the proper curves. It is also in 2D. I'm just looking for an ok from someone that these drawings would be ok to send to a manufacturer. Last edited by Zamm; 06-25-2007 at 05:38 PM. |

| If I were going to be your manufacturer I would want dimensions on the drawing. For instance. The drawing template says the the scale is 2:1, but I imported it into Rhino, and the overall length of the body measure right around 18", which is about right for an electric body. Were does the 2:1 come into play? Mike

| Your drawing looks fine. It would process just fine. Any fine faucets could be blended out by hand. ***edit*** I see your concern - there are a few jagged edges here and there. I am not sure if that's your concern, but if so, simply smooth them out or look at the attached file - I imported into CAD, Splined it and then DXF'd out in an older version, so the Spline became a polyline which will roll right through most CAM packages. See attachment. Scott
