What's the smallest size cnc router needed to cut a guitar

I want to make my next router large enough to possibly cut a guitar, does anyone know what the general size would be to cover a wide range size of guitars?

I'd want about 24x36 cutting area, but you could probably get away with a little less.

I am building a machine OD 600mm x 800mm which should be enough - even if the length is wrong you can always do necks using the diagonal length

Thanks for the replys, I will not be using the router for full time guitar building, but might try to cut one or two for fun, and it's good to know I have the correct size.

macgenby... K2cnc makes a 39/25 just for what you want to do and affordable to let set around, if you do want to play all the time and if you want to play with you machine it's good to go full time. I run my machine 5 day a week and no problems. And I have Mach 3 controller, again no problems. and yes it is a K2cnc... No plug for items above, They just work. And I'm picky. 9lrac9

I agree with 9lrac9. I also have a KG-3925-G router from K2CNC. For me it is the perfect size/quality/price CNC wood router on the market right now for making guitars. And if you ever need help with your machine of choice just contact me.

How big does a machine need to be for any job?
Hold your hands apart about, oh, this much [ ] drawing is scaled of course! Around here (at work) it does not seem to matter how big the machine is, the bossman will always try and put a job on it that is always just a bit bigger than it is supposed to take and then wonders why I grumble sometimes.
