Anyone going to the National Association of Musical Merchants show in Anahiem?

We went last year and it was quite the show. TONS of instruments, gear and such. And a few celebs.

If you are intrested, I'll be down stairs conducting a demo on a pin router. Just look for the BIG bear. I'll be the one with the leg brace and crutches.

I'm jealous... I wish I was going to be there. I used to go to the N.A.M.M shows for the Music store I worked at in College. They are an absolute blast.

Are you into instrument making yourself? I've built a few guitars and dulcimers and various things as well as have a small (very small ) Tube Amp side business. I've got a couple of more guitars slowly working thier way off of my bench.

Yes it would. Not the same bear, tho. We pack this one around to the few shows we attend. Its fiberglass and fir and really not that heavy. I think he's about 8' tall.

Sorry you can't make it. I had a blast last year, my first. Of course we're doing display work so we don't get out much but its still entertaining.

I don't actually build the instruments. I set up all the inlay work. Next, we will be generating electrics. Did a carved top and the surface turned out real nice. Very technical! Its a lot of fun and I have learned quite a lot. It is what has inspired me to build a cnc router. I might try my hand at making an instrument someday. Having seen what goes into them I take my hat off to you guys. Remarkable wood working and fab skills.

Well, I'll take pictures. Last time I saw Santana and almost fell on Stevie Wonder. Long story.
