Hey guys,
I am really new to working with CNC routers, I am a senior in highschool and my woodshop class just got a new CNC router this year from a grant from our state. I have done all of the basic stuff on it such as make signs and boxs, but im starting to get bored of doing the little stuff. I talked to my teacher and I decided I was going to try to build a guitar. I am most likley going to buy the neck and use the CNC to cut the head of the guitar out. I have always liked Les Paul's so i figured that this would be a good guitar to make.
So if anyone has any advice on how to get started or even better has any STL files that you could share with me to help me get started on this project that would be awsome!!
Thanks
Eric

Bump
take a look at http://www.fabitrabbit.com/ 3D Files to make stuff with. they have .STL and Cad files for the Les Paul guitar
Ideally I was looking for free plans cause like I said this project is for a highschool wood shop class and my school does not have the funds to pay for the plans.
They're here... you have to LOOK!
