projeting onto surface

I'm looking for info on software, I have used mastercam for years, but I need to find other cad cam packages which can project tool paths onto surfaces to generat arches etc for instruments. at a lower initial price than mastercam. any of the ones you guys are using have the capability to project ? how about progecting a projection and adding the depth?

I believe Sprutcam7 has that functionality, and that's only around $1000

Thanks, it also appears that visual mill and rhino cam expert and above, and Aspire expert and above . Artcam should too I suspect. if any one knows these to be incorrect, please post.
