New site and a couple of short videos....

    Hi All,

Well, I have been doing some more work on my website, and I finally was able to get it going today. You can see the new site here:

    CNC GUITAR

Also, head over to my youtube channel for a couple of more videos, and this one, the most recent, talks about how I use a couple of touch probes, to index my machine:

As well, as a new dust hood I just designed:

I am going to be posting a lot more content in the coming weeks as my time permits, so check back often...

I appreciate everyone's comments and feedback!

I like the new look a lot! The inlays and the scorpion especially, and the new CNC machine.

    Nice site re-design!

Great to see your updated site, I bought the 2 design videos and will order the machining ones soon, Spiro, you're the master when it comes to teaching. Please make the mill video! That would be a killer. I want to build my own version of "The Stinger" CNC Router!

Your tutorials are priceless for me thanks.

Thank you very much for your kind words!

I am trying hard with what little time I have, to get as much of this done as possible...I am sorry I am not able to crank these out sooner....

I am also planning to show folks how to do carved tops, like Les Paul's and PRS bodies etc...

I also am VERY thankful to all the folks that have bought my videos, and the reviews....as always, I want to see your work, and I will compile a gallery on the site to highlight the work...

    Really do appreciate it guys!

I would be interested in learning how to do carved tops like PRS and LesPaul. Let me know when these are available.

Yes...showing how to do carve tops in Solidworks is on the 1 million things to do list...

They are not that difficult, but it does require a good working knowledge of surfaces, and how they are done is SW...

Got ALL your videos - love them all!
I am actually starting to earn money from the knowledge gained from your videos. Nothing with guitars yet, but I am now apparently one of the few people in my area that can model in 3D and convert that model into mill-able parts.
I have started a friendship with a local luthier who works on my guitars and he has been explaining to me why things work the way they do (concerning guitars - he has several patents for tools and guitar parts.) Combining his knowledge with what I am learning from the videos will cut years off my learning curve. Keep up the good work.
I would like to see another video, or maybe a tutorial on your website, about the fixtures, tools and processes you use on actually building the guitars.

Have you thought about a forum on your website for people who have your videos so the knowledge and info can be centrally located instead of dispersed throughout various forums?

Thank you very much for the feedback...I always get enjoyment from seeing other people become successful with my methods....when i first got started there was not a single place to learn ow to do this stuff, and that is the primary reason I created the videos...to show others that it can be done, and bring to light the "mystery."

Yes, videos on fixturing and the actual cutting process is something which I have on the roadmap..like everything else, just takes time, and other things always seem to take priority...like life... :-)

Not sure how well a forum will go, but I like your idea...maybe someday....

thank you again for the feedback and the kind words! Would love to see pictures of your work....
