Can't generate toolpaths

Can anyone help me with this file?? I'm trying to generate toolpaths for the top but i'm obviously not editing the file properly for this to occur. I've attached the file for those who wish to take the task up. it's a rhino file and I'm using mastercam to mill it.

chris i'm using version x4 of mastercam. I can bring the file into mastercam and convert if that helps. The reason i posted the original file in 3dm is that is the orig file format and maybe that needed to be edited before i can do any cam with it.

thanks
Brent

I'm going to rout the body first.
My level of programming experience is relatively low, although i have already produced some small things on my machine.
my machine is a home made 3 axis cnc router.
stock sizes for the body are 13.75" x 20" x 1.75" the top is a separate piece same length and width but only .75" thick. the material is mahogany and maple.
The body routs will need to be done prior to the top being glued on. Then the top is shaped. then the neck pocket and pickup routs are done followed by the switch and pot holes.
The neck is 3.75" x 2.5"x 26". I really only want to cut the back of the neck from the bottom of the peghead through to the heel. The rest I will shape by hand.

a little more info

tell me about your router spindle speed max & min what control software mach3? how does your router out put z values . ours puts out neg z values above the stock and pos values when into the part cutting. what post processor does your mastercam use? What tools are you going to cut with.
I dont know if you can use everything i would do because i program with mcam 9.1 i think you could import it ok im not sure about the toolpaths though you could run what i could do and see what you come out with.

max speed is 29000/min, i don't have a speed controller so it runs flat out all the time. I use Mach 3 as my control software. My machine cuts in neg values when cutting the stock and pos when above. output file is an NC file. The tools i intend to use is a 1/4" endmill and a 1/2" ballend mill.
Thanks for the help chris, its greatly appreciated
Brent
