I'm beginning a DVD Video series that covers Guitar Building. It would take you through Modeling the body and neck through toolpathing and cutout. In addition it will take you through final build and finishing. My goal is to have a video series that you can start with Aspire, CNC Router, A pile of wood and a pile of Parts, and end up with a finished guitar.

My dauther plays and i though about making a custom for her.do you have any models you could send me ? I would use it a a guilde to design one myself. i currently using solidworks 2010 but and igs sat file will work

Chuck me on the list for the dvd. Not building guitars but would like to know how its done. Some techniques may be useful for other stuff or would excite me to build a guitar.
